An AI tool for finding and ranking job listings.

Users described the role they wanted in plain language. The tool retrieved current job listings, scored each one against that description with a language model, and returned the strongest matches. It was designed and built by one person using AI-assisted development.

Retired

The tool is no longer available. Its hosted backend, which handled search, scoring and saved results, has been decommissioned. This page documents what it did.

What it did

How it worked.

01
Describe the role.
Users entered their requirements as free text, covering seniority, function, industry and location.
02
Retrieve listings.
Current postings were pulled from a jobs API.
03
Score each listing.
A language model rated each posting against the description and explained its score.
04
Save the matches.
The highest-scoring listings were shown, and saved results persisted between sessions.
Outcome

What came of it.

The project tested whether one person could design, build and deploy a working product with AI-assisted development. It was built and deployed, and the same approach is now used on client work.

Built with
React front end, the Groq API for scoring, the Adzuna API for listings, and Netlify for hosting.
